Power stat

Power is one of the 6 main stats in the game. Power relates to how effective the player is at damaging enemies. This takes into account the strength of the build and how effectively the build uses its various weapons. A high strength build is the most well equipped of all builds to take on a high health/defense builds. They may have trouble with ultra tanks such as hippos, rhinos, elephants, and whales but that’s true of almost any build. They can dominate low-mid health builds but they often lack the experience needed to sustain bigger builds. They are weak against high intelligence/stealth builds as they can either outsmart or sneak upon them.

Related abilities[]

Like other stats, high power allows for certain unique abilities that can greatly help in matchups against other players.

Bite[]

Similar to a grab, but also inflicts the bleeding debuff.

Traits:[]

  • Serrated Teeth
  • Curved Teeth
  • Bite Force > Lock Force > Regenerate Teeth > Destroy Armor > Crush Bone
  • Mostly used by carnivore players, but some herbivorous or omnivorous builds like hippos can also pull this move off

Slash[]

Typically done with claws, this attack is most useful to inflict the bleeding debuff.

Traits:[]

  • This attack can be used rapidly and deals higher damage the sharper the claw is. This can only be accomplished by builds that have the Bipedalism trait or can rear up on their hind legs. The Therizinosaurus build was the best at this type of attack.

Charge[]

Intimidation technique as well as a powerful heavy attack that deals knockback.

Traits:[]

  • This move is mostly for tanks, but rushdown builds also use it to get near targets then attack them with Bite or Slash. If using a heavy tank, this move can crush bone and leave the Broken Bones debuff, which makes affected prone to disease and have a decreased movement speed. It's also very intimidating, which makes it surprisingly effective at causing projectile-using humans to retreat.

Stab[]

This move is most effective when aimed at large targets with big hitboxes. It's mainly used by players with tusks, horns and antlers.

Traits:[]

  • This move requires a spacing based build. Weapons like elephant tusks are not used for combat, but have other utility purposes. Human weapons have to be crafted and are not part of the human hitbox, so they are not technically stab weapons. Builds like deer also don't use this- this is an exclusively cosmetic feature. That said, the most usable weapons are sharp-pointed ones that can possibly inflict Bleed damage.

Crush[]

This move is effective when dealing with heavily armored opponents or opponents with lower weight class. Stomp, punch and slap are subtypes of this move.

Venom[]

A very powerful ability that continues to inflict damage even after the initial attack is over. It can be used in a combo with a bite, sting, or projectile attack.

Traits:[]

  • Damage > Cryptoxicity > Hemorrhagic > Dissolve Tissue
  • Disruption
  • Pain
  • Tracking
  • This move comes in two forms: Poison and Venom. Poison requires the user to be touched by enemy players, while Venom requires the user to secure a Bite, Sting, or Projectile. However, this is easily abused by humans, who can tip their projectiles with Venom and throw them from a distance.
